Job Description

We are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join our team. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies to promote our company's products and services. Your duties will include social media content creation, website development assistance, search engine optimization, networking and bringing in new clients, multiple meetings per week with the team, learning and creating data analysis spreadsheets, and scheduling meetings with potential clients.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our company's products and services
- Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others
- Assist in the development and maintenance of our company's website
- Optimize our website for search engines and ensure that it is up-to-date with the latest trends in SEO
- Network and bring in new clients by attending industry events, meetings, and other marketing-related activities
- Attend multiple meetings per week with the team to discuss marketing goals, strategies, and progress
- Learn and create data analysis spreadsheets to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Schedule meetings with potential clients and follow up on leads to secure new business opportunities

Job Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree or certification in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.

 

Experience: 1 year experience > Relevant work experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field is highly valuable. This can include internships, entry-level marketing roles, or positions with increasing levels of responsibility.

 

Knowledge of Marketing Principles: A strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and techniques is essential. This includes knowledge of market research, consumer behavior, branding, digital marketing, social media marketing, and traditional marketing channels.

 

Digital Marketing Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing is increasingly important. Familiarity with various digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and analytics tools.

Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze marketing data, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) is crucial. Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, and data analysis software. Not required but is a plus.

 

Creativity: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills are valuable in marketing roles. The ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns, create compelling content, and think outside the box to reach target audiences.

Communication and Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

 

Project Management: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

 

Collaboration and Teamwork: Marketing often involves working collaboratively with different teams and departments, such as sales, design, and product development. The ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively is crucial.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry or market segment the company operates in is advantageous. Understanding the target audience, competitive landscape, and industry trends helps shape effective marketing strategies.
